CEGA Board Meeting
Wednesday 6/8/2005

The CEGA (Central Georgia) Chapter of APICS held a Board of Directors meeting prior to the PDM on (Wednesday) 8 June 2005 (El Costeno Restaurant on Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA. 31088).  The following Board members were in attendance:

Art Mobley, Clint Grant, and Dennis Leahy.

The meeting convened at 17:30 and ended at 17:55. 

Dennis Leahy called the meeting to order.

Old Business:

            No old (previous) business.  First (board of directors) meeting in several years.

New Business:

  1. Sandra Harvey had volunteered to become Secretary of the Chapter and was voted in by a vote of 3 – 0.  Welcome aboard Sandra!
  2. The Board established the CPIM classes prices as follows:
 
             BSCM (Basics of Supply Chain Management
                  $450.00 APICS Member / $500.00 Non-Member
             MPR, DSP, ECO, and SMR
                  $400.00 APICS Member / $450.00 Non-Member
 
  1.  Motion made and approved that if a Company provides a Training Room with Power Point Presentation capabilities one student’s fee will be waived. Textbooks are the responsibility of the student or the company.
  2. Motion made and approved that the minimum size for a CPIM class would be six paying Students.
  3. Motion was made and approved that the CEGA checking account should be changed to a two signature check and balance system.  The President is to follow-up with our current Bank.
  4. It was agreed to post the meeting minutes, listing of the CEGA members with e-mails to the CEGA web site.
  5. Motion made to adjourn and seconded.
